Preschool education is the need of the time as most of the parents are working and do not have quality time to spend with their children. Most of the babies are left at home with grandparents or helpers who are not able to guide them the way they should be. Thus Pre School is not a place to look for mastery in the academic curriculum, instead, these are appealing to them and teach them in a special way.
One of the most important cognitive shifts in the preschool years that occurs between three-to-four -years-olds is the development of symbolic thought. Symbolic thought is the ability to mentally or symbolically represent concrete objects, actions, and events. The most obvious sign of the development of symbolic thought in two-to three-years-olds is the significant increase in the use of miniature forms of things around them and take themselves into a world of imagination which becomes more elaborate as they grow.
"Do you like my train?" Sonu as he runs around his classroom on his train. 'This moves very fast. It will take me to the zoo.'

Preschool education helps in a child's emotional, social and personal growth and development. Although a child learns interaction and exposure with children of the same age group and teachers helps them to enhance their communication skills. This involves the translation of mental images to language so that thoughts and knowledge be transformed into information.
Child development takes place through efficient learning modes. Teachers at the pre-primary level have to strategize a way to nurture and educate children. Since children in the pre-primary level are very young, teachers have to develop an environment that boasts effective teaching-learning.
As a teacher in a pre-primary school, one needs to focus on the development of the natural abilities like speech, cognition and sensory-motor in children. In my opinion, the preschool teacher needs specific skills and qualities to be a great preschool teacher. It includes a thorough understanding of the subject and a style of teaching that is applicable to the age of children which we are educating.
She/ He needs to be very patient remain calm and always be supportive as this is a very important period in a child development need to be adaptable in terms of how a teach children as not all children learn in the same way need to be great communicator not just in terms of how you teach the children but also how you communicate with their parents.
Finally, the teacher has to be a brilliant organizer and planner and be able to use a creative approach to lesson plans to keep the children educated happy and on a continuous journey of development.
Other methods would be utilized to handle behavioral issues which include using positive language while communicating with the children using a classroom reward chart for positive behavior, also considering the creation of a visual day. Scheduled to focus the attention of the child on what we would be doing throughout the day.
In my experience, negative or disruptive behavior can sometimes desire from a child not being able to carry out the activities they enjoy. So by having a visual scheduled to focus, they will able to see that certain more enjoyable activities will be featuring at sometime during the day's programme lesson.
Going to preschool is 'A small step for a giant exposure in a child's life.
This is the first exercise in which children are separated from the comfort and secure zone of their parents. Therefore, it has to be a place which is a second home to the child; a place, which has enough material to attract and make the child feel comfortable and secure.
This is the first place where the child builds his/her self esteem. A child learns the importance of his/her own name, things and friends. Every child learns to communicate with the teachers and fellow students in the pre School. It is the right place for the child's foundation for lifelong progress. The skills and knowledge that the foundation that the child develops in the Pre School have a great impact on the aptitude and attitude of the child later in life.
Young children in schools sometimes face many difficulties either at learning or during their stay. Teachers thus have to communicate with them to see if they are facing any difficulties. If any issues faced by children go unnoticed, it might hinder the development process of the child. The teachers along with the support of the principal can organize special programmes with parents to know the best possible way by which learning can improve child development and growth could be accelerated by organizing numerous community programme.
